Elaine Zwelling, RN, Ph.D., LCCE, FACCE

Dr. Elaine Zwelling has been involved in maternal-newborn health care for 33 years. She has a bachelors and masters degree in nursing and a Ph.D. in Family Relations and Human Development. Dr. Zwelling was a Professor of Maternal-Newborn Nursing for 23 years at both Capital University and The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, where she taught both undergraduate and graduate students and conducted research. She is currently working as a senior consultant with Phillips & Fenwick, a women's health consulting firm. She is a member of the Board of Advisors of the Pampers Parenting Institute and is a contributing author to the Pampers.com website. Dr. Zwelling is the co-author of a maternal-newborn undergraduate nursing textbook for W.B. Saunders (Maternal-Newborn Nursing: Theory and Practice) and has published a number of professional journal articles related to maternal-newborn health care and childbirth education. Dr. Zwelling is certified by Lamaze international as a childbirth educator and is a Fellow in the American College of Childbirth Educators. She has taught Lamaze childbirth classes for 25 years and teaches seminars and continuing education workshops for childbirth educators and perinatal nurses. She is a member of the National Faculty of Lamaze International and directs the Lamaze International Childbirth Educator Program in the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida.

David Bens, CPT, Personal Fitness Trainer

David has worked with some of the largest and most successful fitness companies in the United States and Canada. He has specialized in the development of customer needs assessment and programs to monitor satisfaction and progress. He is currently designing and implementing a new comprehensive assessment and fitness prescription program, which identifies the best possible fitness program based on an individuals body type, metabolism, time available and lifestyle preferences. David has written the exercise and fitness chapter for the book entitled Healthy @ Work.

Deniese Kragel has been involved in the field of fitness for 21 years. Shapes Family Fitness, Inc. grew to over 16 health clubs with over 700 employees during her tenure. The former Mrs. Florida has earned professional certification from the American Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Other credentials include certification from the Southeast Back Institute, American Council on Exercise (ACE), and Step Reebok. Deniese is a Certified Nutritional Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer, Motivational Speaker and Lecturer, contributing author to
Healthy @ Work, Professional Model and Exercise Instructor for Preschool Age Children.

Currently she conducts "Lifestyle Change Class" workshops based on a curriculum she created. Her passion is to teach others how to "stop dieting, stop counting calories, get fit and feel better."

Myra S. McPherson, LMHC, Ph.D

Dr. McPherson has over 20 years experience as a trainer and consultant on a wide range of mental health topics including child development, family counseling, quality service management and leadership. Some specific training topics have included:
